About Open Belly
Open Belly is a podcast exploring America’s vibrant and diverse food culture. Each episode is an interview with an immigrant restauranteur or chef, talking about their food, culture, and story. Our mission is to inspire listeners to break out of their comfort zones and get to know their neighbors. We hope this podcast encourages listeners to see the world from other perspectives, and of course, fill their bellies.
To break us all out of our comfort zones while exploring new foods
To share the stories of immigrant chefs in our community
To understand the complexity of communities and cultures
To encourage us all to get to know our neighbors
